Custom Designed Paver Labyrinth Installed

We are extremely proud how this very beautiful labyrinth construction side project turned out. It looks like it belongs in this spot and it is hard to imagine anything else ever being here. Here are some comments taken from an article in the Palm Beach Post:

The labyrinth, now open to the public on the church’s grounds in Jupiter,Florida has been on the mind of the Rev. Diane Robinson, Unity’s pastor, since she came to the church 10 years ago.

Labyrinths became popular in Europe in the 1300s for people who couldn’t go on pilgrimages and wanted a way to have a spiritual experience without leaving home. The idea is to take a walking meditation, traveling through the singular, non-branching path of the labyrinth until coming to the center, a 6-petaled rosette. The time of the walk is 15 minutes in and 15 minutes out, after which you should have an answer to whatever question you were pondering.

This project became more than a nice idea for the Church when our owner joined the church a year or so ago. John “Dennis” McDonald, heard Robinson speaking about the labyrinth during a Sunday message and knew he wanted to help out.

“I had the dream — but Dennis McDonald made it a reality,” Robinson said. “It’s another instance of just the right person coming along for us at just the right time.”
