Intracoastal Victorian
One of the most ambitious and technically demanding homes we have ever built, this 26,000-square-foot Newport Victorian residence rises 26 feet above the Intracoastal, commanding sweeping views and extraordinary presence. Built at the water's edge, the project required extensive stabilization of the bay bottom with riprap to support a foundation set more than 10 feet below grade—allowing for one of the first true waterfront basements ever constructed in Florida and enabling the home to unfold into a dramatic five-story residence.
Inside, the craftsmanship is equally formidable. Painted wood wall panels blend seamlessly into integrated wood columns, creating architectural continuity throughout the interior. Overhead, intricately detailed wood-beam ceilings—originally conceived by Village Architects—were expertly engineered, fabricated, and installed by our team. Layered millwork, refined proportions, and bespoke detailing define every space.
The result is an epic Newport-style Victorian mansion—historically grounded, structurally fearless, and executed with uncompromising precision.
